Committed Team Defense against Serious Federal Charges

Our unique, collaborative approach to federal defense was started 15 years ago by Stan Schneider and Ned Barnett, who first met as opposing counsel. Over the years, they have built a talented defense team that provides comprehensive representation across a wide range of federal criminal cases in Texas and throughout the United States. Please contact our Houston office to schedule a free initial consultation.

Attorneys Schneider and Barnett are partners in separate law practices. Together, they join forces to defend clients facing such serious federal charges as drug trafficking, Internet crimes or fraud, among others. They have more than 50 years of combined criminal defense experience and are both Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. The team maintains a network of highly skilled forensic experts and investigators, including a polygraph operator. Whether your situation involves complex financial evidence, expert analysis of computer records or investigation of a government witness's prior record and background, we can develop and present the evidence that best suits your situation.

Stan Schneider's successful defense of murder and drug cases have been featured on such television shows as 60 Minutes, Dateline, 48 Hours and The Today Show. He is an acknowledged leader in the Houston and Texas defense bars and frequently writes and lectures on new developments in criminal law and trial practice.

Houston defense lawyer Ned Barnett was with the Department of Justice as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Texas. As a federal prosecutor, he never lost a case. Although he currently maintains his own successful criminal defense practice, he collaborates with Stan Schneider in complex federal prosecutions anywhere in Texas and throughout the country.

Extensive experience, thorough preparation, close attention to detail, and whenever possible, early engagement with your case prior to indictment are the keys to our success. To learn how you can benefit from our experience and commitment to client service on issues ranging from extradition to sentencing in federal drug or fraud cases, please contact Stan Schneider and Ned Barnett in Houston.
